DATA RETENTION ADDENDUM (Including Voice Data)

This Addendum supplements the Privacy Policy for customers using voice, call recording, and communication modules providewd by JourneyCX Customer Experience Platform.

Voice Data Collected

We may store:

  • Call logs
  • Call recordings
  • Voicemail messages
  • Transcriptions (if enabled)
  • Metadata (duration, caller ID, timestamps)

Retention Periods

Default:

  • Call logs: 24 months
  • Call recordings: 12 months
  • Voicemails: 6 months
  • Transcriptions: 12 months

Retention may be extended at customer request.

Legal Basis

Processed for:

  • Service delivery
  • Quality assurance
  • Fraud prevention
  • Compliance (FSCA, POPIA)

Customer Controls

Customers may:

  • Delete recordings early
  • Disable recording entirely
  • Request export

Security

Recordings are encrypted in storage and transit.

Access Restrictions

Only authorised personnel may access voice data.
